Diving with Sea Fun Divers

A very good operator that you should consider.

Dear readers,

Back from Phuket few days ago, I could dive the Racha islands (Ko Racha Noi and Ko Racha Yai).

The visibility was good (say up to 15 meters) close to zero current, warm waters. It was too early in the year to see big fishes. Unfortunately no sharks and other sea monsters this time but the usual suspects: sea snakes, eels, clown anemone fish, trigger fishes, snappers, octopus, sand fish, lion fish, a turtle, few sting rays, cattlefishes, ston fishes (stay away...).

We also dived a wreck, namely the King Cruiser. A commercial boat who had an accident (or was voluntarily crashed) in the 90s'. You can go into it to play a big but be careful not to injure yourself.

Let me recomment you Sea Fun Divers (Sea Fun Divers Phuket | Best Dive Shop Kata Karon Patong). To be clear, I don't work for them and don't get any business or retrocessions from them. I am purely a customer. But they are nice, very professional so I am happy to make referrals.

They organize everything themselves. From the pick-up at your hotel with their own vans to the diving courses, its all done in-house. Coming the corporate world, I can tell when things are outsourced or managed inernally, and it makes a big difference. Everything goes smooth with this operator. As you can see, the boat is spacious, which is pleasant, its not always the case.

Do contact the shop directly if you want to book. Rene (the boss) will reply very quickly (I think he never sleep) and will arrange everything for you. The rest of the staff is lovely and helpful. Dont not worry about language barriers, their pool of Instructors and Dive Masters cover a wide spectrum of languages. Oh yes, and the lunch on the boat is good Thai food, you wont starve.

So, time to book...

Sincerely yours.
